Electric Toothbrush Twin Pack: From Duo Fresh to PulseONE Duo

An electric toothbrush twin pack makes sense when two people share a bathroom and a routine. Our Duo Fresh Bundle was the twin pack for Pro-Pulse, our previous model. Today the current two brush option is PulseONE Duo: two PulseONE brushes for A$426.

This guide explains what the Duo Fresh Bundle offered, what changed, and how to get the most from two brushes at home.

What the Duo Fresh Bundle is

The Duo Fresh Bundle is two Pro-Pulse sonic toothbrushes in one purchase. Pro-Pulse has three cleaning modes, up to 30 days of battery on a charge, charging on a USB magnetic base, and IPX7 water resistance.

Pro-Pulse is the previous Oradent brush and is still available while stock lasts. If you already own a Duo Fresh Bundle, keep using it and replace the heads about every three months. Pro-Pulse heads fit Pro-Pulse only.

Why choose a twin pack

Buying two matching brushes at once has some simple advantages:

  • One routine for two people. Same modes, same pacing, same feel, so neither person is stuck with the lesser brush.
  • Easier head management. One type of replacement head for the household, ordered together.
  • Value. PulseONE Duo is A$426, compared with A$456 for two PulseONE bought separately.
  • One decision. Handy for a shared home, a gift, or two people upgrading at the same time.
  • Less clutter. Matching brushes, matching heads and one set of habits keep a shared bathroom simple.

What changed with PulseONE

PulseONE replaced Pro-Pulse as the current Oradent brush. The changes that matter most:

  • Battery: from up to 30 days to 45 days on one charge, approximately six weeks, from any USB-C cable.
  • Charging: USB-C with no base, so two brushes do not mean two bases on the bench.
  • Body: a 71 g brushed aluminium body.
  • Storage: the Oradent WallMount, which keeps the brush off the bench.
  • Pacing: SmartSense Brushing technology, a two minute timer with a buzz every 30 seconds.

PulseONE also uses SonicSweep technology, with 38,000 movements a minute and a head that sweeps 45 degrees side to side. Our Pro-Pulse vs PulseONE guide covers the upgrade in full.

PulseONE Duo: the current twin pack

PulseONE Duo is two PulseONE brushes for A$426. Each brush has three modes (Sensitive, Deep Clean and Polishing), a light ring that shows the mode, and a touch sensitive button that will not switch on in a bag while travelling.

Each PulseONE comes with two heads: Precision Clean for everyday cleaning and Gentle Touch for sensitive teeth. That is useful when two people have different preferences, since one can favour the softer head while the other uses the everyday head.

Keeping two brushes organised

A few habits keep a shared bathroom tidy and hygienic:

  • Tell the brushes apart. PulseONE comes in Platinum, Rose and Graphite. White heads suit Platinum and Rose, and Graphite heads suit Graphite.
  • Store them apart. Let each brush dry upright without the heads touching.
  • Replace heads together. Swapping both on the same day about every three months makes it easy to remember.
  • Set and forget. PulseONE heads come in a 2-pack for A$29, or the Head Plan sends fresh heads on a schedule.

Remember that heads are not interchangeable between models: PulseONE heads fit PulseONE only. If you are moving from a Duo Fresh Bundle, use up your remaining Pro-Pulse heads on those brushes before you retire them.

Do Pro-Pulse heads fit PulseONE?

No. Pro-Pulse heads fit Pro-Pulse only and PulseONE heads fit PulseONE only. If you move from a Duo Fresh Bundle to PulseONE Duo, order PulseONE heads.

Is a twin pack cheaper than two single brushes?

For PulseONE, yes. PulseONE Duo is A$426, while two PulseONE bought separately come to A$456.
